Prior to your visit we will be in constant contact answering any questions you have and assisting with your travel and accommodation arrangements. Once you have firmed up your travel plans we will fix a meeting in one of our offices. During the first consultation you will be fully briefed on the process of buying property in Latvia and the services we offer. Following this initial consultation you will be taken to view yourself our up-to-date database. You will then select which properties you wish to visit. We will arrange all transport to these properties. If you find a property you like we will start all the legal work that needs to be done whilst you are in Latvia.
A Preliminary Contract and a 10% deposit paid to the seller is normally expected to secure the property. If you do not have funds available in Latvia we arrange to have a bank account opened for you so you can send the monies required from the UK to complete the legal process.
Typically the deals will be completed within one month of your returning to the UK. Normally clients return to complete and to pay the balance on the property (90%) however deals can be completed in your absence by using Powers of Attorney.
